IDSF OPEN STANDARD & LATIN CHAMPIONSHIPS (World-Ranking Event)
Following
the remarkable success in the SGDF Singapore Open series in previous
years, the Singapore DanceSport Federation (SGDF) is organising the
7th SGDF Singapore Open DanceSport Championships. This will be the
seventh time in eight years that this highly anticipated series is
being organised.
For the first time, the inaugural 1st Asian Super Cup Championships
will be held. The Super Cup is open to all competitors in the Asia
Region.
The IDSF Open World Ranking
Championships were first introduced in 1993 to rank DanceSport
competitors worldwide. In this ranking system, all competitors are
given ranking points, which will be accumulated over a one-year
period. At any one time, the total aggregate points of a couple will
determine the couple’s position in world rankings.
